GORGEOUS CHAMPAGNE

To obtain a quality Champagne, it is essential to have good products, ie good grapes. Nearly a century ago, the lands of the communes producing the best grapes were selected because of the qualities of their soil and their exposure. This is how the appellations 1er Cru or Grand Cru of the Champagne AOC vineyard appeared.

To obtain a Champagne quality, one must also master the techniques of winemaking, pressing, assembly, printing, etc. It is by transmitting from generation to generation the secrets of their know-how that our partners vignerons have managed to develop a balanced Champagne with complex aromas with a beautiful length in the mouth.

Another guarantee of quality lies in the long aging time in the cellar. Indeed, if a minimum of 15 months is required by the regulations, a prolonged aging of several years allows the flavors of Champagne to develop and to obtain very fine bubbles allowing to burst all the complexity of Champagne.

OUR SELECTION of CHAMPAGNE GRAND CRU

Taster-oenologist, I select champagnes benefiting from the only appellations 1er Cru or Grand Cru because of their exceptional characteristics. They are elaborated by winemakers chosen for their know-how and the quality of their production, including prolonged aging in the cellar. Also sensitive to the environment, they favor cultivation.

Thierry and Didier have kept their know-how of ancestors harvesting and manipulating for nearly a century. Followers of the old-fashioned plowing, they also have a great mastery of the elaboration of rosé champagne of bleeding. Installed in Bouzy, they are among the rare winegrowers to use this technique which allows us to present you a pink champagne with delicate and complex aromas.

The appellation Champagne 1er Cru is reserved for champagnes from the vineyards of 42 communes that can benefit from this appellation.
